I was listening to my Amazon playlist this morning,
getting ready for work.

comes on.
My mind wanders back to many (many) years ago
when I'd attended one of his concerts.
He still had long hair then.
And he was wearing a sleeveless denim vest
and skin-tight jeans.
That song may rightfully belong to Ray Charles,
but I'm tellin' ya...
MB seduces the hell out of those lyrics
with his signature gravelly tenor voice.
My lovely escape this morning.
The music does it for me every time.

Oh he is good! Now I'll have to listen to him. That's always the way it goes isn't it? You don't think of an artist for the longest time then you do and then you're obsessed. Music is wonderful.
As for winter - omg, enough already. Every year it seems longer!
