My youngest son is going through a phase, a sort of finding-myself-finally phase.
And I'm lovin' it.
It's a good phase.
His focus has improved drastically,
he's showing passion and excitement about
making good choices in life,
his grades are impeccable,
he seems more outgoing in his relationship with others,
and he laughs more.
HE LAUGHS MORE!
Hah!
Thatta boy!
Why is it that I am so addicted to joy,
to laughter and giggles,
and seeing life through the heart of a clown?
Is it because life is far too serious most of the time?
Is it that survivor instinct in me,
no-way, not-lettin'-the-crap-bring-ME-down
kind of response to life's miseries?
I guess it's who I am.
Laugh more.
One of life's greatest lessons.
And now he's starting to get it!
He was CRACKIN' ME UP last night...
I'm thinking to myself,
"Where's he come up with this stuff????"
Too funny.
Pure delight!
And so.
It being Friday,
my set-in-stone no-worries day,
I offer on my blog
my laugh of the day,
an old joke that I heard years ago,
but still makes me giggle every time.
I think it's because I envision the sheer joy of getting to be
the flight attendant.
Touche!

An airline's passenger cabin was being served by an obviously gay flight attendant, who seemed to put everyone into a good mood
as he served them food and drinks.
As the plane prepared to descend, he came swishing down the aisle and announced to the passengers, "Captain Marvey has asked me to announce that he'll be landing the big scary plane shortly, lovely people, so if you could just put up your trays that would be super."
On his trip back up the aisle, he noticed that a well-dressed rather exotic looking woman hadn't moved a muscle.
"Perhaps you didn't Hear me over those big brute engines. I asked you to raise your trazy-poo so the main man can pitty-pat us on the ground."
She calmly turned her head and said, "In my country, I am called a Princess. I take orders from no one."
To which the flight attendant replied, without missing a beat,
"Well, sweet-cheeks, in my country, I'm called a Queen, so I outrank you.
Tray-up, bitch."
